General
Anyone ages 3yrs old & up will need to purchase an admission ticket to enter the Oil Ranch. Children 2yrs old and under are FREE.

We do offer discounts for Senior Citizens (55yrs and up), 1st Responders, Active Military/Veterans, and Teachers. You must show your ID for verification of one of the categories listed above. These discounted tickets are ONLY available for purchase at the gate. We do not offer this discount through our online ticketing platform.
Please check our social media for posts regarding special discounted tickets that we may offer periodically throughout the year.
When you purchase a General Admission Ticket, you get access to all our regular ranch activities like our Train Ride, Pony Rides, Hayride, Kid Hopper, Big Barn, Lil’ Buckaroo’s Golf, Dairy Barn, Petting Zoo, a much more! The only activities that you would need to pay for separately are our Paddle Boats ($15 per Boat Ride – Up to 4 Guests Can Ride in 1 Boat), Spring Creek Mining (Bags of Gemstones/Fossils Can Be Purchased at our General Store ranging anywhere from $8 - $16), and our O.R. Corral Paintball Shooting Gallery ($5 for 50 paintballs).
During the weekdays, we do allow food and drinks to be brought in. Please keep in mind that we DO NOT allow BBQ Pits, Glass, or Alcoholic Beverages to be brought onto Oil Ranch Property. Coolers are subject to search.
On the weekends we only allow bottled water to be brought in, however; if you have younger children, you are welcome to bring a small snack for them. If you have food allergies or want to head back to the car for lunch, we have a few picnic tables located outside our front entrance (near the ticket booth) that can be used. Tables there are first-come, first-served. Reentry is allowed but may be restricted during certain events.
We also have our General Store that offers a variety of food, snack bar items, and bottled drinks that are available for purchase. We have picnic tables available for use at our YO Pavilion, located next to our General Store. These tables are first-come, first served.
We do love fur babies, but due to the various farm animals that we have all around the ranch, and the safety and comfort of all guests, we do not allow pets.
Certified service dogs are allowed. Please check service dogs in with a manager, upon check-in.
We accept cash, credit card, debit card, and Apple Pay/Google Pay throughout the ranch.
No, parking is FREE for all guests.
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Swimwear is required for the pool (open May and June)
If it’s wet or rainy, boots are highly recommended.
During periods of rain or lightning, some and/or all attractions may be shut down temporarily for your safety. We have several covered pavilions that can offer cover, until it passes. Once the weather passes, we can then resume activities. Operations may be suspended for the day if heavy rain continues, there is an immediate threat of severe weather, wind damage, or flooding. Notifications regarding weather related closings are posted on our website www.oilranch.com (http://www.oilranch.com)and on our Facebook page. Should the Oil Ranch be forced to cancel/close, FOR ANY REASON, then a ticket voucher will be issued to the purchaser which may be used for a future visit during the same season.
