Houston Amusement  Park

The Oil Ranch has an amazing variety of amusements and attractions to choose from. With over 50 acres of family fun, we are the best Houston Amusement Park around. A day on the ranch is better than any other park because, the experiences are real! You can choose from; Milking a cow, take a hayride out to feed cattle, learn to rope a calf, test your paintball shooting skill, fish Lake Buenas Noches. We also have a swimming pool, sports fields, stockyard maze, our big hay barn, and so much more action-packed family fun. Train Ride

Board the O.I.L. Express! Ride by the windmill and take a tour of Lake Buenas Noches stocked with bass and catfish.

Hay Barn

Explore the big barn and visit our baby animals (babies are limited in winter months). Slide down the Turbo Slide and jump into the hay.

Tike’s Town

The Oil Ranch is fun for even the smallest cowpoke. Most of our activities are fun for toddlers and pre-schoolers, they have their own special area sized just for them. And, it gives the adults a chance to sit down and relax for a while.

Hay Ride

Enjoy the weather and hop on our hay wagon! A tractor-pulled hay wagon takes you out to the pasture to hand feed the cattle. Look for “Bulls-Eye”.

Spring Creek Mining Co.Buy your fossils or gemstones and go mining. Awesome adventure! (Bags of mining materials available in the General Store for $8-18.

Dairy Barn

Hand milk Daisy, our Holstein dairy cow! This is an educational exhibit showcasing modern-day milking process.

Hop in the pen with a staff member and pet our friendly farm animals. For all ages.

Take a spin and have a race in our hamster wheels. Fun for kids, big and small.

The Windmill & Duck Races

Enjoy the view at our Windmill, then try your luck at our old-time hand pump duck races.


Indian Village

Hitch a ride on our Indian Sky Swing, race against a friend on one of our rope climbs,play among the 2 Tepees and Totem Poles.


Charlotte’s WebTake a climb and have fun on Charlotte’s web, a giant rope spider web.


Grab a group and play softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, or horseshoes.


Ol’ MacDonalds Putt-Putt

Enjoy a round of ranch style miniature golf with the whole family!Its our own little bit of Texas History, we purchased it from Astroworld once it closed down.


Stockyard Maze

Walk through the stockyard maze to see if you can discover the six flags over Texas!


Statue of LibertyHonoring our veterans, active duty military & reserves for their dedicated service, the ranch has its own miniature Statue of Liberty. She likes posing with guests for pictures! 
Swimming PoolEnjoy our cool pool on a hot summer day! Our swimming pool is open to the public from May 1st through September 30th. Bring a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen. No street clothing or play wear allowed in the pool due to health codes.
